Our Story
A story woven through generations, a place where the past and present come together to create something truly special.
Our name carries deep meaning. Gregory Moore left a legacy worth honoring, and we wanted to create a space where others could begin their own. That’s how The Legacy was born—a place where love, family, and new beginnings are celebrated.
The History
This land’s story began long before us. For over 100 years, the Brewers called this land home, caring for it and preserving its beauty. When we became the first family outside of theirs to own it, we knew we had a responsibility—to honor its past while building something for the future.
We poured our hearts into every detail, doing everything possible to preserve the history of the property. When we had to clear trees to build, we didn’t discard them. Instead, we had them milled locally and used the wood to build parts of every structure on the property, ensuring that the soul of this land remained intact.
Today, this legacy continues in the most beautiful way. One of the previous owners, now in her 70s, grew up on this land and still helps us with every wedding. She stands as a bridge between the past and present, reminding us that this place isn’t just about weddings—it’s about stories, family, and the people who make it all come to life.
